When we created our first series of seminars back in 2004 for Highlands & Islands Enterprise things looked very different on the web. Back then our focus was on educating businesses about the basics of running a website, from domain names to useability and accessibility issues. And our philosophy was simple - Educate people and empower them.

There was a pressing need to close the information gap between remote communities and the country at large, and we believe we helped.

Since then we have changed our seminars to meet the changing nature of the medium, but also to compensate for a greater general knowledge of the internet.

The Tourism industry has been a key focus in the past few years especially in remoter areas of Scotland and we have adapted to meet this demand by taking the seminars all over the country from Lochgilphead to Shetland.

But the philosophy remains the same.
